About the Course
The curriculum will be developed in response to the current needs of the individuals in the group with discussions shaped around their experiences with their child. Workshops will involve short presentations and discussion of the children's development. Parents will share two videotapes of their children with the group in a non-critical and supportive atmosphere.
Topics might include using the DIR model to:
go deeper in Floortime
use an affect-based approach to academics.
understand behavior and regulation
improve communication and motor planning
