Astra Instructors

The Astra Foundation Special Needs Center offers introductory DIR®/Floortime courses geared to undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals working in the field. These semester-length courses may be held at the Astra Foundation offices, 524 Main Street, Acton, MA, or at Lesley University in Cambridge MA. The fee for the course, payable to the Astra Foundation, is $300.

Students who elect to receive Lesley University credits may do so for an additional $150/credit ($450), plus a registration fee. 

Students may also be eligible to apply for Massachusetts Early Intervention Competencies.

Lesley University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Taking a course for credit earns students who fulfill the necessary course requirements assigned by the instructor, Lesley University credit. Students desiring to transfer Lesley credits should check with the receiving institution prior to registering, as credits are accepted at the discretion of the receiving institution.
